Purpose of the job:

 

  • To provide upper management with updated training plan for relevant staff when required, including all brands.
  • To carry out training needs analysis/competency assessments in liaison with the manufacturer and if needed HR Department.
  • To develop training courses to address identified weaknesses in knowledge and skills.
  • To deliver the necessary training courses
  • Constantly develop oneself to be updated with the latest available information on vehicle products and technical features, servicing and technical issues.
  • Attend ‘train the trainer’ courses to acquire the latest information, the authority to conduct training courses in market and the needed training support materials from manufacturers.
  • To get the necessary approval and communicate training plans to all relevant staff within the company network
  • To provide coaching on diagnosis, evaluation and fault finding in vehicles when required.
  • To facilitate technician with technical information and work processes when help is needed
  • To share skills and knowledge to develop others within the dealership. Maintain records of the staff and training activities for easy access when required
  • Ensure that training areas are clean and tidy, organized and safe from hazards to health and safety.
  • Advise Management on matters of training facilities, equipment needs and health and safety concerns.
  • Seek to find ways to delight customers whenever interacting with them.
  • Discuss with customers vehicle queries of a technical nature and provide reassurance in terms of dealership expertise and competence when needed.
  • To enhance the reputation of Euro Motors at every opportunity when interacting with others.

 

  • Process Warranty Claims and paperwork on a timely basis for each franchise/distributor according to dealership or manufacturer policy.
  • Reconcile warranty receivables with payments and post on computer or excel sheet.
  • Handle rejected claims according to dealership or manufacturer specifications and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • File and maintain service records.
  • Assist Warranty Supervisor & cover his absent.
  • Provide support to service department and management as needed which related to warranty issues,
  • Attending meetings and training on updated warranty information.
  • Other duties as assigned by management related to warranty.
  • Monitor and scrap Warranty Parts as per dealership or manufacturer Policy
