Job Overview
First Motors is seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Technician to join our team in Bahrain. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work with a leading investment company and contribute to the maintenance and repair of our vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from job controller and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Communicate with Team Leader to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the management.
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Report Team Leader immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Document work performed.
• Supervise work of any junior technicians as assigned.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean.
• Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
• Understand and follow local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
• Inform the Team Leader in advance of overtime, stick leave or absence.
• Carry out on job training of Junior Technicians when requested by Team leader or Service Manager.
  
  Qualifications
  * Proven 5-7 years of experience as an Auto Technician.
  * Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  * In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
  * Ability to use diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
  * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  * Valid driver's license.
  * Relevant technical certifications are advantageous.
